Alcoholic beverage purchase orders, [ca. 1980]-[ongoing].

Brands and sizes of liquors and wines to be listed for sale to the public are approved by the ABC Board members. After the Board has approved the list of brands to be purchased, the actual purchasing process is carried out by the Purchasing Section. This series consists of purchase orders, initiated by the Purchasing Section, covering merchandise ordered for shipment to the ABC Board Warehouse. Each order form indicates the vendor's name and address, purchase order number, date of purchase, term of payment, ABC Board code number, name of merchandise, size, and quantity. The form is then signed by the Administrator and the Director of the Wholesale Division before going out to vendors. Copies of purchase orders are sent to the Accounting Division for payment.
